Whiskey Ranch BBQ Co. was founded in 1998 as a family fun business with the one simple Mobile Hot Dog Cart under the name of Tommy's. We purchased the cart in order to offer our corporate clients, from our carpet cleaning company a simple, easy, promotional and customer appreciation tool. Our corporate clients were so satisfied they began to ask if we would offer catering for their other special occasions. This is why our specialty catering service started and has now evolved into a BBQ company. We wanted everyone to be happy with their choices, so we customized the foods and beverages to meet their needs.
The bar-b-queuing started as back yard fun and experimenting. Then it became a passion for making the best tasting foods. We started off like everyone else, the family bar-b-que. Since then we have gone through 8 different smokers and 3 different grills to find the best cooking and best quality. Our newest addition being the custom made 25 foot smoker that was purchased from Georgia and involved an eight day trip across the country to pick it up. We visited all the BBQ restaurants we could find, some of them being Corky's, Big Bob Gibson's, Hog-pen, Rendezvous, Dreamland, to name a few. We tasted everything from Georgia sweet tea and chewy bread, to sauces that were sweet, spicy, white, sit down and pucker up vinegar and knock your socks off habanero. We were also told what we were going to order by our waiter at Corky's BBQ in Memphis. We talked to as many owners and pit masters as possible to get as many hints and secrets to bring back to Arizona to make great BBQ...we got lots of hints.
Today we are still family owned and operated. We often tell people that it is our personal goal to make every event a family affair. We are there to give exceptional service, have a wonderful time doing it by offering great tasting food: at an affordable price: and spend time with our family.
